Thomas Boutoux (born 1975) is a curator, writer, and publisher. He is a founding member of castillo/corrales, a gallery, bookstore, and publishing house operated by a collective of artists, curators, and writers in Paris, established in 2007. He is also a founder of Metronome Press and an editor for the art journal May. Educated in political science and anthropology, he has researched, written, and lectured often on subjects such as internationalisms in the arts, the globalization of the art world, and its reverberation on local artistic scenes. He was a contributor to the book The Manifesta Decade: Debates on Contemporary Art Exhibitions and Biennials in Post-Wall Europe (2006) and is currently writing an essay on the exhibition Les Magiciens de la Terre for Afterall Books.
