Documentation of the project Sex & Space, which took place at the Shedhalle, Zürich, in which FORMER WEST research advisor Marion von Osten was involved. It focused on issues of feminist theory and gender relations. The collaborative practices of exhibition and project organization at the Shedhalle were an influential and important model for alternative forms of institutional activity in the 1990s. These practices sought to address inherent gender, economic, class, and other inequalities by attempting to create a truly shared space for cultural production and critical reflection.
