Exhibition catalog to Rites of Passage, Art for the End of the Century, Tate Gallery, London, curated by Stuart Morgan and Frances Morris (15.06-03.09.1995). This exhibition considered artistic tendencies of the 1980s and 1990s, and attempted to suggest that these artists—‘passeurs’—were ‘people who, at the end of the millennium, are ferrying things or people across boundaries, priests, of that secular religion that art has become.’ 11 international artists were included and the installation of works mixed generations, chronologies: Miroslaw Balka, Joseph Beuys, Louise Bourgeois, Hamad Butt, John Coplans, Pepe Espaliu, Robert Gober, Mona Hatoum, Susan Hiller, Jana Sterbak and Bill Viola.
