Catalog of the exhibition Nuit blånche: Scènes nørdiques: les années 90, Musee d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Paris, curated by Laurence Bossé and Hans-Ulrich Obrist (07.02.–10.05.1998). An important example of a 1990s exhibition curated around the theme of national or regional groupings; the ‘Nordic miracle’ of this decade was connected to the sudden prominence of many Scandinavian artists, who, despite tenuous or non-existent links between them, were grouped in thematic shows under the national/regional rubric. Exhibited artists included: Eije-Liisa Ahtila, Ann Lislegaard, Sophie Tottie, Joachim Kœster/Matthew Buckingham, etc.
