Martin Prinzhorn is Associate Professor of Linguistics at the Universität Wien, Vienna. He writes regularly on art, and has contributed texts to publications on artists such as Martin Kippenberger (2008); Markus Oehlen (2008); Frances Stark (2008); Cerith Wyn Evans (2007); Jutta Koether (2007); Sarah Lucas (2005); and Mary Heilmann (2003). Prinzhorn also contributes to journals including Texte zur Kunst and Metronome. He has lectured at institutions such as the New Museum, New York, and Kunsthaus Graz, Graz, and has curated exhibitions including: Concepts from Painting, ar/ge Kunst Galerie Museum, Bolzano, 2006; and Nachgemacht: Reproduzierte Natürlichkeit—simulierte Natur [Duplicated: Reproduced Naturalness—Simulated Nature], Kunstraum Innsbruck, Innsbruck, 2002.
