Gulf Labor Coalition (GLC) is an international group of artists and writers, founded in 2010 to advocate for higher living and working conditions for the migrant workforce responsible for building the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and other cultural institutions on Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island, United Arab Emirates. G.U.L.F. (Global Ultra Luxury Faction) is a direct-action offshoot of the GLC. [Last updated 2016]
