Daniel Baker (born 1961) is an artist, curator, researcher, and activist whose main area of research is Roma visual culture and its potential for social agency. His work has recently been shown in exhibitions including: Art on Fire, Camberwell Space, London, 2012; The Imagination of the Nomadic in Contemporary Art, Museum für Völkerkunde, Hamburg, 2012; and Call the Witness, Roma Pavilion, 54th Venice Biennale, Venice, 2011.
