Andrew Ryder is a scholar and journalist who has written numerous essays on political theory, continental philosophy, and modern literature. He is visiting Lecturer of Gender Studies at Central European University. He has recently contributed to journals and magazines such as Historical Materialism; Jacobin; Crisis and Critique; Warscapes; Studies in Social and Political Thought; and Jadaliyya. He is presently revising a manuscript inspired by Georges Bataille, and editing a collection of essays by Daniel Bensaïd. Ryder lives in Budapest. [Last updated 2015]
